WHAT WE DO
Share food, learn & teach
At the Community Kitchen, our belief is that everyone should be able to have spaces in which they can share food together, learn and teach skills and create strong connections with others.
Our main work focuses our range weekly cookery classes specifically for people who experience social marginalisation in our community. We also run events, provide catering services and hire out our space in order to support us in our social outreach work.

COMMUNITY COOKERY CLASSES
Our weekly outreach cookery classes are run in partnership with Bristol-based drug and alcohol services, mental health organisations, and refugee and asylum seeker groups.
The time in the kitchen provides an opportunity for people to learn and share skills around food, build connections and feel at home.
FOOD PROVISION SERVICE
We work with Caring in Bristol to provide hundreds of nourishing, healthy meals every week, that then go to people in our community that need them.

SPEAK & EAT
Speak&Eat is a free, regular six-week cookery and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) class that is open to refugees and asylum seekers who are looking to improve their English, whilst preparing and sharing delicious foods from around the world.
