We believe the strongest communities are built on care – everyday acts of cooking, sharing, and showing up for one another. For 14 years, Coexist Community Kitchen has been powered by care: creating meals, teaching skills, and making space for people to feel nourished, supported, and connected.

Now, after a tough year for funding, we need our community’s support more than ever – to make sure we can keep this work going strong into 2026 and beyond.

Why now?

It costs £300,000 a year to run the Kitchen.

This winter, we need to raise £50,000 (with a stretch target of £75,000) to start 2026 on strong footing.
Thanks to match funding, every £1 you give will be doubled up to £250.

What We Do

Last year alone, together we:

Ran 171 free cooking sessions
Supported 1,300+ people through hands-on programmes
Welcomed over 5,000 people through our doors
Served 7,000+ meals to people facing food insecurity
Saved 2,400kg of food from landfill
