Why choose Coexist?
PROFESSIONAL CHEFS WITH PURPOSE
Our kitchen is led by seasoned chefs with years of professional experience across restaurants, events and largescale catering. Trained in a wide range of cuisines, and working closely with global majority chefs to keep dishes true to their roots, our team brings skill, care and cultural understanding to every menu. From intimate gatherings to large celebrations, we create bespoke menus and offer practical guidance to help your event run smoothly and feel truly special.
HIGH-QUALITY, SEASONAL CATERING
We cook with the best seasonal ingredients, sourcing locally wherever possible to champion Bristol’s growers, farmers and small suppliers. Choosing what’s fresh and in season helps us tread lightly on the planet while serving vibrant, flavour-packed food - because nourishing a community starts from the ground up.
FOOD THAT FUNDS CHANGE
100% of profit from our catering goes back into meaningful change across Bristol, supporting cookery sessions, food provision, shared meals and community events. Since 2012, we’ve worked alongside people facing isolation, food poverty, mental health challenges, addiction, displacement and many other structural inequalities present in our society. So when you choose us, you’re choosing more than great food. Every event we cater helps turn one meal into many.
Customer reviews
“Brilliant catering for a series of conferences that I have hosted! They fed over 400 people across 4 days, and the people loved it. Will definitely use them again!”
— Sam Taylor, Vivobarefoot, Company-wide gathering
SUCH an incredible evening! The food was extraordinarily good, beautifully presented, delicious, local, seasonal and varied. Dietary requirements were all catered for beautifully, the venue is gorgeous and the team were an absolute dream to work with. All of that and the delicious food and exquisite service supports the incredibly valuable work that they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
— Ruth Potts, Birthday Celebration“Brilliant company, they did a private party for us for 40 people at our home. They were very efficient, clean and professional. Food was excellent and menu very imaginative for the theme of the party. I would highly recommend them for catering for large groups.”
— Jane Nash, Pre-Wedding Party

Our approach
We provide delicious, seasonal, and colourful food that’s made with care and creativity. Our small team has a wealth of experience and bags of creative vision, which means we can help you craft the perfect menu for your event. We’re passionate about sourcing locally, and we take a lot of care in choosing which producers to support.
We aim to cook with mostly organic fruit and vegetables, and we prioritise working with local, seasonal suppliers. Our trusted local suppliers include Stream Farm, Gothelney Farm, Field Bakery, Three Hares Farm, Sims Hill Harvest, The Bristol Cheesemonger, and The Community Farm, making sure we have the freshest ingredients for every dish we create.
As a thoughtful organisation, we’re also mindful of our environmental impact. We work closely with local growers to reduce waste, and we carefully design our menus to reflect what’s in season and available. This means our menus can be a little weather-dependent, and we embrace the opportunity for last-minute creativity to make sure we’re using the best ingredients at the right time.
So, whether you're planning a wedding, a corporate event, or a special gathering, you can count on us for food that’s fresh, vibrant, and full of flavour, all while supporting the local community and sustainable practices.
