About us

Welcome to Coexist Community Kitchen. We are a not-for-profit cookery school. We use food to bring people together and support those who feel marginalised or face challenges in life.

We believe everyone should have a place to:

  • Share food

  • Learn new skills

  • Make friends

Cooking and eating together helps us feel happier, healthier, and more connected.

Our Services

We work with individuals and groups across Bristol to run free cooking workshops that bring people together through food.

These sessions are a chance to:

  • Learn new cooking skills

  • Connect with others

  • Build confidence and feel good

We also run a free meal service for those who need extra support. At the moment, this service is full — but if you fill out the form below, we’ll be in touch as soon as a space becomes available.

If you’re interested in joining a workshop or requesting meals (for yourself or someone you support), just complete the Coexist Registration Form below. A member of our team will be in touch as soon as possible.

We ask for some basic information like age and gender because it helps us apply for funding to keep our services free and accessible. Your details are kept private and only used to support our work.

We're a small team and often busy in the kitchen, so replies may take a little time — but we promise to get back to you!
